2008 Son of a Sailor Hess Lake 10K

The Hess Lake Improvement Association would like to thank the following sponsors on behalf of the 3^rd annual” Son of a Sailor” 10K Walk/Run, held Saturday, July 19, 2008. 

Because of their sponsorship over $11,000.00 will be donated to The American Cancer Society for cancer awareness and research.

Thank you also to the over forty volunteers that helped make this event successful.

Looking forward to another great year on Saturday, July 11, 2009, for the 4^th annual “Son of a Sailor” 10K Walk/Run!

The purpose of the Hess Lake Improvement Association is:

1)   to promote the civic and social welfare of its members

2)   to stimulate active interest in Hess Lake problems and endeavor to find suitable solutions thereof

3)   to encourage general property improvement and beautification in and about Hess Lake

4)   to arouse among all members a genuine spirit of good fellowship.
